February has come and gone. The Kindergarteners really wished that the groundhog had not seen his shadow because we are all tired of winter! There have been some really cold and windy days when we didn’t get to go out and play. We are so glad that spring is finally here. New and wonderful things are just around the corner!
We are also excited to be a part of a wonderful project of raising money for children with leukemia. We will be collecting pennies for patients all March to finish in time for Purim.
I am thrilled to see the growing heart for others that our children are beginning to have. They are blossoming into truly caring individuals that really care if the world is going to be taken care of. It is awesome to see these children become imprinted with the “helpful to others” code. I know that when this is internalized, these children will grow up to be caring adults. I already see this caring attitude though the young adults in the congregation.
We are already headed for summer and starting parent conferences at the beginning of April. When we were a smaller school it was much easier to speak to everyone about their child’s progress without scheduling a conference. Now that we have more children enrolled in our program, we are not always able to see each parent any more. So it just makes more sense to have more formal conferences.
I would like to welcome Audree Puente and her cousin Jaeden Barragan to our E.C.L.C. family. Also, welcome to Ari Nachshon I remember his uncle Neir - I am getting old. It is delightful to see all theses children grow up so nicely!
We also have some little chicks in our school. The Kindergarteners are so excited for these new visitors. If you have time, come and visit is new addition to E.C.L.C. they are so cute!
Shalom,
