I have been so blessed in my short life of 50 years. I have had more dreams come true in the last 10 years than at any other time in my life. I have traveled to more places since I have turned forty than at any other time of my life. I am happier than I have ever been!
You are probably asking yourself why in the world is she talking so much about herself? Frankly, who really cares?
The reason I am sharing is that I had a dream many years ago that this school could be one of the top preschools in the area, including the learning environment.
I really didn't believe that we could actually have a new playground. I truly thought I would retire from this school before I would see an entire new flooring and a rubber play surfacing outside.
Here I sit typing away in a beautiful office looking out onto lovely rooms and then seeing the children so happily playing on the surfacing as well as the new sandbox, with the most kind and loving teachers and aides.
I say to myself - I am so blessed because I work at a place where people actually care!
All the congregants, from the Temple Board to the Rabbi and the Temple Administrator, and the parents (Jewish and non Jewish alike), and to each teacher and aide … there is not a one who hasn't shown how much they care, from donating toys, books, their time, and money to the Director's discretionary fund. Not to mention buying all that cookie dough!
Yet you ALL, each and every one of you, have chosen to play a part in these young children's lives. Some of you have never even met these children but your generosity still abounds.
Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart. I have been once again truly blessed.
